God's Gracious Plan of Salvation is as simple as A, B, C:

A.   "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

             (Romans 3:23)

Sin entered this world through Adam and Eve; we all fail to measure up to God's standard and that is sin.  Because we are sinners, we stand condemned, enslaved to sin's power, deserving sin's penalty.  "For the wages of sin is death..."   (Romans 6:23)
